April 20, 2016 - At Bauma, Scott‐Macon Equipment Co., Houston, Texas,  placed orders for two Tadano Mantis telescopic boom crawler cranes.. A 130-ton GTC‐1200 and a 77-ton 15010 will join the company's product offerings.

Alexander Scott said: “We are seeing increased applications for tele‐boom crawlers, and we are excited to add these two units to our inventory of equipment available to meet the needs of our customers. We are particularly pleased to add the innovative GTC‐1200, which will represent the first purchase by Scott‐Macon of a tele‐boom crawler in the 130-ton class.”

The Tadano Mantis GTC‐1200 has a 155-ft. main boom and is equipped with the standard 59.1 ft. bi‐fold jib. Lifting charts in the GTC‐1200 are available for up to 4° slope conditions, and the 1.5° level ground charts provide the crane with real-world lifting capacity.

The 15010 has a 111.5-ft. main boom and a 50-ft. bi‐fold jib, as well as preparation for a boom mounted hydraulic auger.

Both cranes feature full load chart pick and carry capacity and are well suited for both lifting and foundation applications.
