SC&RA Insurance Administrator Names New Chief Legal Counsel

April 6, 2007 -- Robert C. Moore has accepted a new position as chief legal counsel of Nations Builders Insurance Services (NBIS), effective May 1, 2007. In this new position with NBIS, the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association's exclusive insurance and risk management program administrator, Moore will assist SC&RA members, as well as focus on the SC&RA program. NBIS cites litigation control, or claims resolution, and insurance matters as his top priorities.

"This is a tremendous addition for our organization and for our customers in SC&RA," said Kevin J. Cunningham, president, NBIS Construction & Transport Underwriters, Inc. "Bob is the consummate legal professional and has been an advocate of the crane and heavy-haul industry for over 25 years. He brings an enormous amount of talent and energy to our customers, and his fighting spirit will greatly assist the SC&RA Member Insurance & Risk Management program now even more that in the past."

Moore will now spend full time battling for SC&RA members against plaintiff lawyers, added Cunningham. "We are extremely proud that Bob has agreed to join our firm, and SC&RA will experience even greater results now with Bob Moore as a full-time advocate," he said.
