SC&RA Elects Officers for 2015-2016

April 22, 2015 - During its 2015 annual conference this month in Carlsbad, Calif., the SC&RA elected Bruce Forster, Rigging Gear Sales, Dixon, Ill., as president. Joining Forster as officers for the 2015-2016 term are Alan Barnhart, Barnhart, Memphis, Tenn., chairman; John McTyre, McTyre Trucking, Orlando, Fla., vice chairman; Delynn Burkhalter, Burkhalter, Columbus, Miss., treasurer; and Terry Young, Construction Safety Experts, Cary, N.C., assistant treasurer.

 

Also joining the board as newly-elected group chairs are Tony Fastuca, Python America, Hazel Crest, Ill., Allied Industries group; Rob Weiss, Cranes, Inc., Maspeth, N.Y., Crane & Rigging group; Sean Claton, Midwest Specialized Transportation, Rochester, Minn., Transportation group; and Karen Wood, Wheco Corp., Richland, Wash., Ladies group. The officers will serve one-year terms that expire at the association’s next annual conference, to be held April 26-30, 2016 at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, Orlando Fla.

 

Additionally, SC&RA elected six new board members to serve three-year terms. They are Larry Curran, JJ Curran Crane Co., Detroit; Ted Redmond, NCSG Crane & Heavy Haul Services, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; Mike Vlaming, Vlaming & Associates, Vallejo, Calif.; Mike Card, Combined Transport, Central Point, Ore.; Paul DeLong, Paul DeLong Heavy Haul, Las Vegas; and Toni Sabia, Transport Systems & Products, Stamford, Ct.
