SC&RA Introduces Android Version of Crane Hand Signals App

September 16, 2011—A Crane Hand Signals mobile app from the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association is now available for the Android operating system. Since its introduction late last year, the free app has been downloaded more than 7,000 times in the iTunes App Store and Blackberry App World.

 

The Crane Hand Signals app gives users instant access to all necessary crane hand signals. Every signal included is compliant with the revised OSHA Cranes and Derricks Standard and is shown graphically so that operators can quickly and easily reference the appropriate signal for each command. All signals are available in English and Spanish.
