Self-Propelled Crane Designed for Assembly Work and Loading

July 15, 2008 • Air Technical Industries, Mentor, Ohio, introduces a new self-propelled mobile hydraulic crane, which features a three-section 35-foot telescopic boom that to lift up to 20,000 pounds. The base design is narrow, enabling it to pass through doorways, aisles, and travel in crowded places between other equipment.

 

The crane is capable of steering 90° in each direction, making sharp turns around corners. Additionally, it has infinitely variable speed control from 0 to 4 mph. Battery-operated for clean and quiet operation, the crane has optional battery chargers available. All functions of the crane, including boom lifting and lowering, telescopic boom action in and out, optional cable winch lift, and optional powered mast rotation left and right, are hydraulically operated for smooth lifting.

 

No need for installation or assembly, the crane is ready to work and is self-sufficient in operation. .  According to Air Technical Industries, it is an ideal tool for assembly work, positioning heavy parts, machine and truck loading, or maintenance work, such as aircraft repairs.
