Shawmut Becomes Tadano Mantis Dealer

September 28, 2010 — Shawmut Equipment of Canada, Inc., St. John, New Brunswick, is the new dealer for Tadano Mantis Cranes in the provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland.

Mantis telescoping crawler cranes offer hydraulically extendable crawlers, compact dimensions and quick set-up as there are no outriggers to deploy. The Mantis cranes also offer 360-degree pick-and-carry capabilities and multiple attachments, such as work platforms and augers.

Shawmut Equipment will hold an open house on Oct. 29, 2010, to introduce the new Tadano Mantis line. The Mantis telecrawlers are a new addition to Shawmut’s existing product lines including Grove, Manitowoc, National and Potain cranes.
