Shawmut Equipment of Canada to Open New Facility in Nova Scotia

July 6, 2016 - Shawmut Equipment of Canada Inc. has announced that it will be opening an additional facility in Elmsdale, Nova Scotia. The Elmsdale Business Park location will serve as its headquarters in the Maritime provinces of Canada. It will continue to serve customers out of the existing facility in Saint John, New Brunswick.

 

The new location offers easy access to Halifax, Nova Scotia, where business is expanding, as well as a direct entrance onto Highway 102. We will be located minutes from the Halifax airport, increasing convenience and decreasing travel times to the shop. It will allow for quick technician dispatch when customers are experiencing problems, as well as expedited shipping times for parts orders. This will improve the time it takes us to react to customers unexpected breakdowns, resulting in more machine uptime.

 

The new, state-of-the-art facility will be equipped with multiple repair bays, as well as diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot quickly and offer correct solutions for our customers. All our technicians are factory-trained with years of experience on the equipment they service. The facility will also offer additional warehousing for parts to be shipments to customers quickly. 

 

Construction is expected to be completed by spring 2017.
