Sims Crane Opens Space Coast Branch in Florida

September 20, 2016 - Sims Crane & Equipment has opened its twelfth location in Florida, this one in Titusville. The company reports that by the end of the year, Sims’ Space Coast office should support 11 employees with at least four crane units on site.

The new location, which opened Aug. 1, includes an acre of parking with room to accommodate additional cranes as needed. Cranes to be located at the Sims Space Coast office include new all-terrain cranes by Tadano: two 75-ton ATF 70G-4, a 110-ton ATF 100G-5, and a 240-ton ATF 200G-5.

Sims Crane tapped Chris Arnold, who has been in the company’s Orlando office, to lead the team in Titusville. The branch opening is part of the company’s expansion strategy that also includes the acquisition of the nation’s largest fleet of Tadano AT cranes, according to the company.
