Skyjack Announces Its 2007 AWPT Training Schedule

February 21, 2007 • Skyjack, Guelph, Ontario, has announced its AWPT operator and instructor training schedule for 2007. Training will be held each month at Skyjack's headquarters in Guelph, and in March, May, July, September, and November at its St. Charles, Ill., location. Additionally, Skyjack will host regional AWPT training sessions throughout the year.

AWPT's operator training includes theory, practical, and familiarization components, as well as in-depth theory and practical evaluations. The training meets/exceeds the ISO 18878 international standard and applicable ANSI/CSA standards. Upon successful completion of the AWPT operator training program, attendees receive the PAL card as proof of training.

During instructor training, AWPT senior instructors teach qualified persons the proper use and delivery of the AWPT operator training program over the course of two days. Trainees receive information on techniques and practical tips that will improve their overall professionalism and streamline the training process. Upon successful completion of the course, the trainee will receive a PAL card and will be registered with AWPT as an instructor.
