February 4, 2015 - Slingmax Rigging Solutions, Aston, Pa., has introduced a redesigned Hydraulic Pad Eye Tester (PET), designed to increase jobsite safety and create a more streamline lifting experience. Testing hardware, slings, and hoists are a necessity before performing any kind of heavy lift; however pad eyes and lifting points are often overlooked.  The PET is designed so that the user can test the integrity of lifting points in an upright, inverted, or horizontal orientation. The device is lightweight and portable, has an adjustable clevis height, and is available in 10-, 20-, 30-, 50-, and 100-ton capacity models. All PETs are fitted with a large dial readout, and upgrades and accessories are now available.
