Southern Industrial Purchases Gibson Industrial Services

October 17, 2008 • Raleigh, N.C., contracting company Southern Industrial Constructors/Southern Crane has purchased Gibson Industrial Services of Kings Mountain, N.C., according to a report in the Charlotte Business Journal.

Southern Industrial did not disclose the purchase price. The deal will provide Southern Industrial with a larger footprint in the Charlotte metro area, according to a company statement.

 

Gibson Industrial markets a variety of specialties, including industrial work and plant relocation, which should help Southern Industrial expand its offerings, according to the report. Gibson Industrial has 30 employees.
