Southwestern Industrial President Bill Fiske Dies

July 2, 2015 - William Clay Fiske, Jr., President and career employee of Southwestern Industrial Contractors and Riggers, Inc., El Paso, Texas, passed away in late June. After graduating from New Mexico State University (NMSU), Fiske joined Southwestern, where he worked his entire adult life.

 

Southwestern is a founding member of SC&RA, and Fiske regularly attended SC&RA meetings. He also contributed to the athletic department at NMSU and helped create The Fiske Construction Engineering Scholarship for NMSU engineering students. Fiske is survived by his wife of 54 years Nancy Fiske, his mother, a daughter, son, grandchildren, and a sister.

 

A service and celebration will be held Saturday, July 4, at 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church on 1340 Murchison Dr., El Paso, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fiske Construction Engineering Scholarship via the NMSU Foundation, PO Box 3590, Las Cruces, NM 88003-8001.
