Speakers Discuss Industry Issues at AWRF Meeting

April 17, 2008 • The Associated Wire Rope Fabricators (AWRF) held its Annual Meeting this week, April 13-16, at The Fairmont San Francisco hotel. Two business sessions were held Monday and Tuesday, with speakers covering topics such as labor legislation affecting the industry and litigation issues for businesses in the industry.

In association news, it was announced that Theresa McGee resigned as treasurer and has been replaced by Bruce Yoder of American Rigging, who was formerly secretary. Jeff Bishop, Bishop Lifting Products, was elected to secretary for the remainder of the year. The association plans to elect another board member before the summer.
