Sterling Crane Appoints Branch Manager

June 15, 2007 • Sterling Crane, Edmonton, Alberta, has appointed John Krane branch manager for its branch in Arvada, Colo. He will oversee the company's crane fleet operations in the Denver area, in Colorado and in neighboring states.

Krane has more than 18 years of experience in the crane and construction business. He worked for Associated Construction Publications for 10 years in advertising sales and editorial, according to an article on the ACP site. He has also worked for Terex Cranes in Olathe, Kan., and Aspen Rock Crane Co. in Longmont, Colo.


In March, Sterling Crane announced that it acquired the assets of Perry Crane of Colorado, Inc. and Perry Crane & Rigging, Inc. With the expansion, Sterling Crane now offers crane rental, contract lifting, heavy hauling and millwrighting services from its Colorado branches in Denver, Grand Junction and Fort Collins, plus an Elko, Nev., branch. The company now works extensively throughout Wyoming, Utah and Montana. Sterling Crane has branch operations in a total of 18 locations throughout Canada, Colorado and Nevada.
