Sterling Lumber Expands Illinois Operations, Names President

June 4, 2014 - Sterling Lumber Co. recently consolidated three manufacturing plangs and 117 employees into its new 520,000 sq.-ft., 60-acre facility in Phoenix, Ill. The company plans to add another 50 employees in the next 24 months.
Sterling Lumber also announces it has hired Shane Green as president of the copany. Carter Sterling is now assuming the role of CEO. Green most recently was president of Homer Industries LLC in Lockport, Ill., and previously spent more than a decade in the banking industry. . “His leadership, finance background, and experience with forest products makes Shane a perfect fit for Sterling’s future objectives,” Sterling said.
