Stevenson Becomes Haulotte Dealer
March 19, 2008 • After a significant purchase of machines at ConExpo, Bolingbrook, Ill.-based Stevenson Sales & Service has become a dealer for the full line of Haulotte machines. The Chicago-area company purchased about 50 machines from the L'Horme, France-based Haulotte Group at the trade show, including boom lifts and the company's recently introduced telehandlers.
Christophe Debatisse, Haulotte's chief financial officer, said the company was very happy to deal with Stevenson Sales & Service. “They will be a very significant dealer for us,” he said.
Debatisse also said that the companies are in negotiations for a purchase of about 100 more machines in the coming weeks.
Rick Stevenson said the company invested in Haulotte machines because of the safety features offered in the equipment. Stevenson decided to invest in the two new models Haulotte presented at ConExpo, the new 86-foot boom HA86TJ+ with a 16-foot 5-inch telescopic jib and the new telehandler HTL90-55, as well in the existing line of vertical masts.
