Sunbelt Rentals Promotes Stachowiak to National Director of Safety

April 18, 2007 • Charlotte, N.C.-based Sunbelt Rentals has promoted Jeff Stachowiak to a newly created position of national director of safety. In this role, Stachowiak will assume the lead role for the Sunbelt safety function and will develop strategic initiatives to reduce and eliminate safety hazards.

“This is a highly visible and critical role in our company,” said Catherine Whitney, vice president of safety and risk management. “Sunbelt has always been focuses on safety and Jeff will further our safety culture.”

Stachowiak's responsibilities include creation and enforcement of Sunbelt safety policy and procedures, and the training and management of 24 safety managers.
