Sunbelt to Open AWP Branch in Virginia

October 21, 2008 • Fort Mill, S.C.-based Sunbelt Rentals announces the opening of its newest aerial work platform (AWP) rental branch at in Chesapeake, Va. The new location will open Oct. 27 and will specialize in boom lift and scissor lift rentals and will provide classroom and hands-on AWP equipment training.

The new facility covers three acres with 10,000 square feet of office and warehouse space. The location is one of six Sunbelt branches serving the Tidewater region. With $11 million in AWP inventory, it adds to Sunbelt's $45 million of rental equipment fleet in the area.
