Tadano Hosts Open House for New Service Center
August 6, 2008 • Last month Tadano America Corp., Houston, Texas celebrated both 15 years of serving the North American market and the opening of its new administrative, parts and service support facility. The purpose-built 66,000-square-foot facility will help Tadano support its growing population of cranes.

Tadano recently opened its new Houston facility.
The facility sits on more than 10 acres and currently serves as home base to 54 employees. One key aspect of this new facility is its 16,000-square-foot high bay service center. Fitted with overhead cranes and in-ground inspection pits, it allows serves of Tadano's largest cranes. In addition, the company can now do in-house mounting of its expanding line of boom trucks with a wider variety of commercial chassis.

The entire facility measures in at 66,000 square feet, including this 16,000-square-foot shop.
Events included an open house complete with Texas longhorn steers and live music. A dinner for dealers and key customers was hosted by Tadano President and CEO Koichi Tadano, who also oversaw the ceremonial opening of the sake barrel. Other events included a golf outing and sightseeing around the Houston-Galveston Bay area.
