Tadano Mantis Expansion Goes to Virginia
March 25, 2015 - Tadano Mantis Corp. plans to invest $2.5 million to expand its manufacturing operation in the town of Richlands, Va. Gov. Terry McAuliffe announced Virginia successfully competed against Tennessee for the project.
With offices in Franklin, Tenn., Tadano Mantis manufactures hydraulic telescopic-boom crawler cranes for use in power transmission line erection, highway and bridge construction, railroads, and oil and energy pipelines. The Bluefield Daily Telegraph reports that the Virginia expansion will create 25 new jobs in the local area.
