Tandemloc Adds Diametral Tongs to Product Line

October 18, 2016 - Tandemloc Inc. has added the AR12 Series diametral tongs to its product line. The tongs range in capacities up to 3,000 lbs. with a 14 in. in maximum diameter. The Tong’s diameter can also be customized per the customer’s individual requirements.

 

The diametral tongs are built for handling cylindrical items, such as pipe, round bar, and any other cylindrical item falling within the working load limit and diameter size that each tong is designed for. The AR12 Series tongs include the Tandemloc Autolatch for easy object engagement. The Tandemloc Autolatch allows the tong to engage and capture the load, perform the lift and then safely disengage from the load upon the placement in its new location—all without electrical or manual human involvement.

 

 

As with all Tandemloc below-the-hook lifting devices, the AR12 Series diametral tongs are proof tested and certified to 125% of the working load limit, meet ASME B30.20 and BTH-1 specifications, and made in the United States.
