Taylor Crane & Rigging Completes Acquisition of Crane & Rigging
December 18, 2012—Taylor Crane & Rigging (TCR) has announced the acquisition of all remaining equipment of Phoenix-based Crane & Rigging (RC). The acquired items consist of approximately 3000 tons of equipment and rigging gear used for heavy industrial lifting and transport.
Transport equipment
- Two Manitowoc crawler transporters, 350 tons each
- Twenty-four lines of Scheuerle hydraulic modular transport trailers
- Several rail trucks and rail cars
Towers, hoists and box girders
- Seven hoists from 200- to 1,100-ton capacity
- Several hundred feet of tower sections
- Columns
- Lifting beams / box girders (approximately eight sets) from 55’ to 100’ long plus extensions
Jacking frames
- One 400 ton
- Two 600 tons
Documents
- Engineering and drawings
- Project lift plans
- Client lists
- Photos
Other
- Two 600-ton turntables and saddles
- Approximately 30 semi trailers, dollies and jeeps
- Miscellaneous rigging gear: metal bolsters, saddles, beams, swivels, tools and one yard crane.
The acquisition also includes RC’s intellectual property including drawings, engineering, photos, client lists and other documentation.
The purchased equipment that is located in Catoosa, Okla. and Phoenix, is currently being relocated to Taylor’s terminals and will be re-purposed and integrated into TCR’s current fleet.
