Terex Cranes Opens Tower Cranes Service Center in India

Terex Cranes has opened a new sales and service center in India.

January 19, 2009 – Terex Cranes has opened a new sales and service center in Pune, India, under the leadership of T.R. Badarinarayan and an experienced sales and service team to provide enhanced customer support throughout the country.

Badarinarayan brings to Terex Cranes more than 20 years of experience and was instrumental in establishing the tower crane business in India. He will initially focus on further developing the India market for Terex tower crane products. Prior to joining Terex Cranes, Badarinarayan was the president of Potain India and led the manufacturing and marketing of that company’s tower cranes for both the domestic and export markets.

 

“We are delighted that Mr. Badarinarayan will be heading our efforts to further develop the Terex presence in India,” said Ken Lousberg, vice president, Terex Cranes. “He is one of the most experienced and well-respected figures in the India crane market and the ideal leader to move us forward.”

The Terex Cranes India team is located in the Pentagon Tower P1 in Pune. This readily accessible office location consists of approximately 5,000 square feet, including 3,000 square feet of sales and service offices as well as 2,000 square feet of a spare parts center.
