Terex Names AWP Vice President and General Manager

Linda Mayer

July 31, 2007 • Terex Corp., Westport, Conn., announces the appointment of Linda Mayer as vice president and general manager of global marketing and product management for Terex Aerial Work Platforms. Terex Aerial Work Platforms includes Genie Industries, Terex® Lift, Terex® light construction products, and Terex® Load King. In this role, Mayer will have global responsibility to develop and lead marketing and project management strategy for Terex AWP. She will report directly to Tim Ford, president of Terex AWP.  

 

Prior to joining Terex, Mayer was vice president of corporate marketing at for power transmission and industrial component manufacturer Rexnord Corp. She also served in a variety of roles including marketing, financial analysis, and corporate planning and development for the Kohler Co., and she previously worked at John Deere Consumer Products and Moen, Inc.

 

Linda holds a bachelor's degree in history from Stanford University, an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and an MA from The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. She and her family will be relocating to the Redmond area from Ohio.
