Terex Opens AWP Branch in the Middle East

March 6, 2007 • Terex Equipment Middle East LLC, a new sales and marketing office for the Terex Aerial Work Platforms division, recently opened in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.). Strategically located to better serve customers in the Middle East, the office sells Genie® self-propelled articulating, telescopic, and trailer-mounted boom lifts, self-propelled scissor lifts, material lifts, and telehandlers, as well as Terex® light towers.
 

“The Middle East region has shown amazing growth in the construction sector, and we predict that it will continue to do so over the next several years,” said Brad Abrahams, regional manager for Terex Equipment Middle East LLC. “Through our new office in Dubai, we intend to increase the Terex brand presence in the region. As well, we will provide localized support to our customers and reinforce the strong working relationships with local companies that we've built over the years.”

 

Terex Equipment Middle East LLC serves the market demand for Terex equipment in 29 countries: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Cyprus, Egypt, Ethiopia, Georgia, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Malta, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, U.A.E., Uzbekistan, and Yemen, as well as the West Bank territory.


“Our office is ideally located to handle customer needs throughout the entire territory,” said Abrahams. “Currently, we handle sales and marketing in the region, but during the office's construction, we planned for future operation expansions, including the potential for inventory warehousing and manufacturing.”
