Terex Delivers Three All Terrains to German Crane Service Provider

Dec. 18, 2013- In November 2013, German crane service provider Eisele AG took delivery of two Terex AC 140 compacts and one Challenger 3180 all terrain crane in Zweibrücken.

Rocco Schimmel, engineer consultant at Eisele, commented: “The AC 140 is the most compact 5-axle crane out there. This comes in real handy when you have precious little space available at your job site. This is why we will be using these two cranes mostly for erecting tower cranes and carrying out demolition and industrial assembly work.”

Regarding the Challenger 3180 , Schimmel said, “In this case, the decisive factor i the company’s purchase decision was the combination of a 50-meter-long main boom with a compact three-axle chassis. This makes the Challenger the perfect option for lighter assembly projects relatively close to our location. It’s also the perfect substitute for a larger 80-tonne crane whenever we have projects for which we just need the extra boom length, and not the actual extra lifting capacity.”
