Terex to Show Big Cranes at ConExpo
January 23, 2014 - At ConExpo, one Terex Crane at the show will have attendees talking. The Terex Superlift 3800 crawler crane will be exhibited in an even larger configuration than at Bauma. According to Terex, the Superlift has been designed to redefine performance in the 650-tonne capacity class.
Requiring up to 30% less counterweight for long boom erection and complete with new-style cabin and Terex fall protection system, the Superlift has a maximum lift capacity of 650 tonnes at 12 m and a maximum hook height of 190 m. Maximum load moment is 8426 mt. All the crane’s components weigh less than 40 t and are below 3 m in width and height to facilitate ease of transportation.
Two Terex cranes also will make their debut, including a new mid-size all terrain crane that specifically addresses the needs of the North American market and a class-defining truck-mounted crane.
