The Rental Show Set to Be Third Largest Ever
January 16, 2007 • For the third consecutive year, exhibit space at The Rental Show has sold out, which puts the 2007 show in line to be the American Rental Association's third largest Rental Show • in terms of exhibit space • in all of the show's 51 years.

Of the 717 exhibitors at the upcoming Show, 94 companies • 13% • are first time exhibitors at The Rental Show. “Looking at the number of returning exhibitors, equipment manufacturers and distributors continue to be interested in The Rental Show,” said Carla Johnson, ARA director of associate member services. “The Show is also one of the best venues for companies to introduce themselves or new products to the rental market. Rental store attendees appreciate the new exhibitors and products; they are always looking for a competitive advantage.”
Originally, the 2007 show floor was scheduled for 305,000 net square feet. Last June, Rental Show officials decided to expand exhibit space to meet the tremendous early response from exhibitors and provide additional amenities, such as lounges and food stations, on the show floor for attendees. Exhibit space in the heavy construction and light construction/general tool areas of the show floor sold out in August.
