TMB Electric Expands Crane and Rigging Services in New England

October 27, 2026 - TMB Electric Corp., an electrical contractor based in Salem, New Hampshire, has launched an expanded Crane Services & Heavy Rigging division serving Southern New Hampshire, Northern Massachusetts, Maine, and Vermont.

The division offers mobile crane rentals, boom truck services, and specialized rigging for commercial, industrial, utility, and telecommunications projects. The company said the expansion integrates crane and rigging capabilities with its existing electrical contracting and infrastructure services.

TMB Electric has provided power, generator, and wireless communications infrastructure for more than 20 years.

The company's crane and rigging services support a range of lifting and installation work, including rooftop heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, chillers, air handlers, and roofing materials.

Additional applications include generator placement and transformer installation for emergency backup systems and substations, as well as cell tower and antenna installation, light tower placement, and steel erection.

The division also handles specialized industrial rigging projects involving precast concrete, bridge beams, underground and aboveground tanks, and medical equipment, including MRI systems.

"Overhead lifting and heavy equipment placement are critical path items on almost every major commercial and utility job site," said a spokesperson for TMB Electric Corp. "By deploying our own fully operated mobile cranes, boom trucks, and certified rigging teams, we eliminate scheduling friction for our clients, maintain total quality control, and ensure maximum safety on site."

TMB Electric said its crane operations are supported by licensed and insured operators trained to work in high-risk environments. These include sites near energized electrical systems, confined urban locations, and active healthcare or industrial facilities.
