Trico Equipment Divides into Two Companies
October 25, 2007 • Trico Equipment, Inc. announces it has reorganized its aerial lift and earth-moving equipment divisions into two separate companies. Trico Lift will exclusively handle aerial lift equipment rental, while Trico Equipment Services, LLC will focus on earth-moving equipment rental and sales. The company said dividing the product divisions into separate companies enables each one to focus on its portion of the construction equipment market.
Trico Lift will operate under the direction of newly appointed President and CEO Kenneth Pustizzi. Headquartered in
“The seed for Trico Lift was planted in 1980 when my brother Joe had the foresight to add this dimension to the business, which at the time was focused only on earth-moving equipment,” Ken Pustizzi said. “It's a tribute to him that we are now positioned to launch this separate company, which will focus entirely on expanding our position in the aerial lift market.”
The earth-moving equipment division now falls under the sole direction of Joseph Pustizzi, Jr., who serves as president and CEO of Trico Equipment Services, LLC,
“We saw this decision as an opportunity for everyone,” Joe Pustizzi said. “Most importantly, it's a win for our dedicated employees who can continue to grow with us on both the aerial and earth moving equipment sides of the business and not be subject to outside or unfamiliar ownership.”
Trico Equipment, Inc. was established as a farm tractor distributor in 1952 by Joseph Pustizzi, Sr. It later expanded into construction equipment sales and rental.
