September 11, 2008 • Millville, N.J.-based Trico Lift, a full-service aerial lift company, recently held a painting and refurbishing workshop for technicians from all of its seven branch locations.

Seminar participants learned new techniques regarding touch-up paint work to promote a safer and more environmentally friendly paint method. Paint product knowledge and application techniques were reviewed and a hands-on session conducted to ensure technicians' understanding of all new applications.

“Refurbishing our equipment includes detailed painting after extensive machine overhauling,” said Chris Carmolingo, executive vice president. “We have made a commitment and long-term investment to assure the work environment, products and practices used by our employees are not only safe for people, but for the environment.”

Instructors from DuPont and P&B Paint Supply, a DuPont distributor, participated in the event held at Trico Lift headquarters and fleet maintenance center.

Trico Lift's equipment painting and refurbishing program is supported by an industrial paint booth at its fleet center in southern New Jersey measuring 60 feet long by 14 feet wide and 16 feet high. The facility was ergonomically designed so that all equipment pieces could be safely and properly painted.

Trico Lift has served the market for more than 55 years with one of the largest privately owned fleets in North America. The company maintains offices and fleets in New Jersey, Ohio, Maryland, Virginia, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
