Tuthill Appoints Vice President Sales & Marketing

September 25, 2008 • Burr Ridge, Ill.-based Tuthill Drive Systems has named Joe Grecu as vice president of sales and marketing. Tuthill Drive Systems, a division of Tuthill Corporation, is a manufacturer of hydraulic-powered drive systems for on-road and off-road vehicles. Grecu will be responsible for all aspects of Drive Systems' global sales and marketing activities through the business unit's distribution channels.

Grecu has 25 years of experience in senior sales and marketing roles with companies including Subaru of America, Case Construction Equipment, Terex, Mercury Marine, and Grumman Olson Industries.

 

Tuthill Drive Systems has engineered products for the agricultural and off-highway markets for more than 30 years, including the legendary MUD HOG steerable hydraulic drive axles that are used worldwide. Tuthill recently introduced the EZ Trac hydraulic front wheel drive for Class 6, 7, and 8 trucks.

 

Tuthill Corporation manufactures highly engineered, machined products, including pumps, blowers, vacuum pumps, linkage and control cable assemblies, suspension systems and fluid couplings. Tuthill's third-generation family business now has 27 plant locations on five continents.
