United Hoist and Crane Buys Land

December 4, 2008 – The Little Rock Port Authority’s board of directors has accepted an offer made by United Hoist and Crane Inc. to buy property at the Port Industrial Park in Little Rock, Ark. The Jackson, Miss.-based company will construct a 10,000-square-foot warehouse and crane service space and a 2,500-square-foot office. United Hoist and Crane will employ an additional 25 people. New investment in the building and equipment will be approximately $1 million.
