Updated Rigging Handbook Now Available

July 16, 2007 • ACRA Enterprises, Inc., Stevensville, Mich., has released the third edition of the “Rigging Handbook: The Complete Illustrated Field Reference.” The handbook is an illustrated reference source for rigging professionals, crane operators, and others who perform rigging and hoisting operations.

At 4 inches wide and 7 inches tall, the handbook is designed to fit easily in a back pocket. The new version includes updates for rigging standards, including important changes to sling and hardware use as defined in the most recent ASME B30.9 and B30.26 standards. The handbook also includes current OSHA requirements.

 

The new edition also includes a tool on the back cover for determining the horizontal angles of rigging in the field.
