VMAC Wins 2018 Industrial Manufacturer Business of The Year

February 27, 2018 - VMAC has won the Industrial Manufacturer Business of the Year award at the 2018 Business Excellence Awards. These awards are presented annually by the Business Examiner Media Group, and celebrate the best of the best of business on Vancouver Island. This year the awards honoured 88 finalists from a variety of industries and communities.

 

“The VMAC team is thrilled to be the 2018 winner in the Industrial Manufacturer Business of the Year category,” says Gordon Duval, VMAC’s VP of Marketing and Sales. “In the last quarter of 2017 VMAC was a winner at the BC Export Awards, and a finalist in Canada’s Best Managed Companies. These continued achievements are only possible due to VMAC’s dedicated and talented team.”

 

The 2018 Business Excellence Awards’ criteria required companies to highlight their growth over the last year, both in employees and sales. In addition, candidates must describe the innovations and changes made in 2017 that were significant to the year over year improvement of the business operation.

“VMAC’s greatest achievements can be attributed to VMAC’s culture and spirit of innovation, which guides us in designing new and innovative products, and continuously improving our manufacturing processes and quality management systems,” says Mr. Duval. “We’re proud to represent the manufacturing industry on Vancouver Island, designing and manufacturing high-quality products which are exported around the world.”
