Wolffkran Unveils First 990 Ton Trolley Jib Crane at Bauma
Wolffkran is expanding its compact series with the introduction of the WOLFF 8095 Compact, the company’s first trolley jib crane in the 990-ton class.
The crane, set to debut at Bauma 2025, is designed for maximum point-bearing capacity at full jib length and is equipped with an automatically couplable double trolley for added flexibility.
“With the new WOLFF 8095 Compact, we have succeeded in designing our largest trolley jib crane to date with an impressive lifting capacity. Thanks to its tower top section, which is about six meters shorter than the cross-jib version, it is very compact and economical,” Dr. Mohamed Abouelezz, head of business development and product management at Wolffkran.
"And it comes with a new feature that makes operation even more flexible: the automatically couplable double trolley," he added.
High Lifting Capacity, Efficient Operation
The WOLFF 8095 Compact offers two variants: the WOLFF 8095.25 with a maximum lifting capacity of 25 tons and the WOLFF 8095.40, which supports a maximum capacity of 40 tons.
In four-fall operation, the crane can lift up to 40 tons and achieve a point-bearing capacity of 7.8 tons at maximum jib length, with the option for a WOLFF Boost for increased capacity. The crane’s flexibility is enhanced by its double trolley, which can be split at the push of a button, eliminating the need for crane personnel to climb onto the jib.
Lighter Construction, Higher Performance
The crane’s high lifting capacity is made possible by a four-chord jib design, which improves force transmission and reduces component weight. Additionally, a 110-kilowatt hoist winch allows the WOLFF 8095 Compact to achieve operating speeds of up to 524 feet per minite, while its energy-saving features minimize on-site power demands.
Compact Design, Easy Assembly
With a compact tower top, the WOLFF 8095 Compact can be positioned closely with other cranes, reducing overall height and minimizing rope collision risk. The jib length is adjustable in 16 feet increments between 98 feet and 262 feet, and the crane can reach freestanding tower heights up to 328 feet when paired with larger tower elements.
Assembly is straightforward, requiring only a standard 350-ton mobile crane. Additionally, the crane features advanced safety equipment, including electronic overload protection, anti-collision interfaces, and a remote maintenance system via WOLFF Link.
Ready for Worldwide Deployment
Already attracting significant demand, the WOLFF 8095 Compact will be displayed at Bauma 2025, taking place from April 7-13.
Visitors to the Wolffkran booth (outdoor area south, booth 902/7) will be able to view the crane’s 98-feet jib, which will extend over the booth’s rooftop terrace.
