World of Concrete 2009 Attendance Drops

February 12, 2009 – World of Concrete 2009, held Feb. 3-6, 2009, brought a total of 65,287 registered professionals to Las Vegas, Nev. Total exhibit space equaled 880,000 net square feet. In comparison, last year’s show brought 84,789 attendees, with more than 900,000 net square feet of exhibit space.
“World of Concrete continues to be as full and robust as it has in the past. We have seen an increase in our outdoor exhibits and events and those that attended were amazed at the new products and offerings,†said Tom Cindric, show director, World of Concrete. “Even though the overall numbers may be lower this year, as with most tradeshows in this current economic environment, it is the quality of buyers we bring to the table that continues to make this a strong and important event for the industry.â€
