WW Builders Adds Tadano Knuckle Boom Crane
WW Builders Inc. adds a Tadano PM 38.5 SP knuckle boom crane and jib for materials handling and construction work.
September 16, 2026 - WW Builders Inc., a construction services company based in Duncan, Oklahoma, has added a Tadano PM 38525 SP + J813.20 knuckle boom crane and jib to its equipment fleet.
The 38.5 tonne-meter (139.2 ton-feet) crane will be used for construction applications, including lifting items at distance and moving materials on and off jobsites. WW Builders worked with Tadano distributor BTE Body Company Inc. to select the crane.
Scott Fowler, WW Builders Inc. project executive, said the company had not previously owned a knuckle boom crane.
"Everyone knows the quality of Tadano machines, and this new knuckle boom and truck setup will be a great fit for our project work throughout the region. We loved the functionality and controls of the crane, the horizontal and vertical reach, the activations on the boom for tools, and the Mack chassis. Plus, the service from both BTE Body and Tadano has already been excellent."
The crane is scheduled to begin work in Arkansas on an Air Force base project, where it will be used for materials handling.
The PM 38.5 SP Series is part of Tadano's Gold line of knuckle boom cranes. The release states that the crane is designed to combine lifting capacity with compact dimensions and relatively low weight for its class.
The crane uses a rack-and-pinion slewing system and is available with up to eight hydraulic extensions. Jib configurations are available with up to five extensions and negative angles of 20 degrees, extending the crane's horizontal and vertical working range.
“Our customers expect reliability, capability, and support after the sale,” said Jeremy Rendon, regional equipment salesman at BTE Body Company, Inc. “Tadano’s expanding parts and service infrastructure, combined with the strength of the PM product line, gives us confidence that we are putting our name behind equipment that will perform in the field. We are very excited for the wonderful fit with this crane and WW Builders Inc.”
Tony Hampton, director of sales PM Group at Tadano, said, “This crane represents more than equipment — it represents alignment and strong partnership. WW Builders Inc. is a trusted construction name in their region, and the 38.5 SP crane and jib will be great for their array of services. And BTE Body is known for thier service and aligning clients with elite equipment. Tadano is very exicted to partner with both companies to help everone achieve thier goals.”
