CM Labs Simulations announced the debut of its Intellia Intelligent Training System at Utility Expo 2025 in Louisville, Kentucky, October 7–9. The highlight is an enhanced training suite for overhead line work — showcased alongside an underground operations simulator — demonstrating progress in heavy equipment operator training.
The new simulation packs, hosted at booth S4020, mirror real-world challenges crews face across utility sites. The overhead operations station features a digger derrick simulator, along with progressive training scenarios for working near power lines. The underground operations station focuses on safe task execution around buried lines and infrastructure.
“We’re excited to expand our product suite with solutions that directly address the utility sector’s most urgent challenges,” said Lisa Barbieri, VP of marketing and strategic partnerships. “With the new demands of modern technology and a growing need for a more robust grid and infrastructure, utilities face added pressure to prepare skilled crews fast.”
CM Labs’ Intellia-powered hardware integrates OEM-grade control systems and centralized analytics, delivering detailed trainee performance insights and real-time error tracking. The platform is designed to ensure crews are well-prepared for the demands of utility construction and maintenance.
These simulation advances can be explored at booth S4020 during Utility Expo 2025.
