Sarens Names Victor Martinez U.S. Country Manager

September 23, 2026 - Sarens has appointed Victor Martinez as country manager for the United States, where he will oversee the company's U.S. strategy and operations.

Martinez brings experience in heavy engineering, specialized over-dimensional transport, complex logistics, and technical operations. According to Sarens, his background includes leading multidisciplinary teams, managing complex project portfolios, and overseeing the commercial and operational performance of heavy equipment fleets.

His experience also includes business development, industrial supply chain management, Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards, and relationships with major engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors and corporate clients.

Sarens said Martinez's leadership will center on three areas. The company plans to address construction bottlenecks associated with modular and industrial construction through engineering and heavy lifting services.

The company also plans to support energy transition projects, including onshore and offshore wind developments and other clean energy infrastructure.

A third focus will be fleet modernization and sustainability. Sarens plans to optimize the use of newer, lower-emission equipment to improve energy efficiency while maintaining its safety and performance standards.

The company said Martinez's appointment strengthens its presence in the U.S. market as it works to support infrastructure, industrial, and clean energy projects.

Sarens operates in 70 countries through more than 100 entities and employs 6,500 professionals, according to the company. Its services include crane rental, heavy lifting, engineered transportation, and special rigging.
