Mountain Crane Expands Tadano Territory Into Utah

October 27, 2026 - Mountain Crane Service has expanded its Tadano equipment distribution territory into Utah, extending local support for crane customers in the state.

Announced October 27, 2026, by Tadano America Corporation, the expansion adds Utah to Mountain Crane’s existing distribution territory in Washington and Oregon, where the company distributes Tadano rough terrain, all terrain, telescopic boom crawler, and truck cranes.

Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Mountain Crane’s expanded territory is intended to improve customers’ access to parts, service support, and equipment deliveries.

Scott Lennon, president of equipment sales at Mountain Crane, said the company is expanding its relationship with Tadano to serve customers in Utah.

Tadano said its distributor network expansions are intended to help crane owners and contractors access equipment, obtain parts, and receive service from factory-trained professionals. The company has also expanded its distributor network in Maryland, Delaware, Nebraska, and Texas.

Tadano America said the network changes are focused on customer support, including reducing downtime and improving response times as customers undertake larger and more complex lifts.

Founded in 2004 as a family-owned business, Mountain Crane Service has grown from a small crane fleet into a company that ranks among the 15 largest crane companies in North America, according to the company. In addition to its Salt Lake City headquarters, it operates satellite offices and wind maintenance locations nationwide.

Mountain Crane provides crane rental and operational services for commercial and industrial projects, including industrial construction, plant maintenance, steel erection, precast tilt-ups, bridge girders, transformer work, and wind farm construction and maintenance. The company also supports tower installation and repair, marine construction, large-structure demolition, and heavy equipment relocation.
